What You Need From Glossier

If you haven’t heard of Glossier before, it is a skincare and beauty brand with a strong online presence. They’ve done pop-up shops, but they’re mostly available online. Glossier currently ships to the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and the UK, but they’re working on expanding. The focus of Glossier products is natural beauty, all their makeup and skincare is very natural, and exactly what you need to create a glowing look. So far I’ve only tried some of their makeup products, but I’m dying to try their Milky Jelly Cleanser and Super Bounce Serum. I am able to share with you my thoughts on the products I have tried!

Wowder Finishing Powder

I was super excited to get this! There are plenty of reviews online, and it just seemed the perfect fit for my dry skin. The packaging is also great, I think sometimes loose powders can get super messy, but this one is perfect to travel with. The Wowder is said to,

cut shine, blur the appearance of pores, set makeup, look like skin.

There is also a brush available that comes with the powder. I didn’t get it, but it has also received great reviews on Instagram and Youtube. The powder is not translucent, it does have a bit of a tint to it, and I think the light shade is not light enough, so it could be a bit dark for fair skin tones. It will also be hard to use it to lighten your under eye if that’s something you like to do. Compared to the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder, I like Wowder a lot better. It doesn’t cling to my dry patches or accentuate texture, it looks flawless on my dry skin, and I’ve really been enjoying using it.

Cloud Paint

Following along their natural beauty trend, Glossier released Cloud Paints which are cream blushes. I hadn’t tried a lot of cream products, and I was so impressed by these. I got the shades Dusk and Haze, but there are other two available. You can also mix them to achieve new shades. I really love the natural flushed look these give you, and they’re so easy to use. I highly recommend them if you’re not a huge fan of blush, but still like to give yourself a natural, healthy flush.

Balm Dotcom

This has got to be my favorite product from Glossier that I’ve tried. I pick at the skin of my lips all the time so they’re always a mess, and dry, and chapped, but this has been a life savior. It looks really natural, it is not heavy, and you don’t have to be constantly reapplying it.

A hydrating, long-lasting, multipurpose lip balm and skin salve that’s packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to nourish and repair dry, chafed skin.

You can also use it on your cuticles for some extra hydration, especially during the Winter months. I’ve tried the original, coconut, and the cherry which has a slight red tint to it.

I’ve really enjoyed using Glossier products. They’ve all been great quality, and I am really impressed with the results. I can’t wait to try some of their skincare.

What’s your favorite Glossier product?
