The Bronze Palette Review

I was one of those people who was glued to their computers during one of the many Kylie Jenner launches to try and snatch one of her products. I’ve done it twice. Once, to try and get one of her first lip kits, and the second time to try and get a hold of the Bronze Eyeshadow palette. And I did it. I got one. Before they were available around the clock. I was one of the chosen ones.

I don’t wear eyeshadow every day, mainly because I’m lazy and usually oversleep for work and don’t have enough time to do a full face of makeup. But when I do wake up in time, this palette is my go-to palette. I use pretty much every shade except for the black one (aka Obsidian) mainly because I don’t know what to do with it, I’m scared of black eyeshadow (if anyone has any tips, please leave them in the comments!).

top to bottom: Jasper, Quartz, Topaz, Goldstone, Citrine, Tiger Eye, Hematite, Bronzite, and Obsidian

I watched a tutorial made by Kylie where she walks through how she does her eye makeup using her palette, so I usually try to recreate it. I love that the palette is mostly composed of matte shades, as I struggle with shimmery shades a lot, but also includes a couple of shimmery shades to highlight. The colors are really pigmented, they blend in really well, and they can all be used as once. I have other palettes where I stick to only a couple of the shades, but in this case, I am able to use all of them in one look.

A lot of people are hesitant to get the Kylie Cosmetics, mainly because they associate their creator to Reality TV and not take her very seriously, but they should. She is very passionate about makeup and loves making quality products for her fans. I highly recommend the Bronze palette, and I’m considering getting the Burgundy palette. If anyone has it and would like to leave a comment saying if they think I should get it, I would really appreciate it!
