Mascara is one of my favorite makeup products. I think it either makes or breaks a look. On no-makeup days, mascara is one of the essentials I can’t go without. Because of this, I have tried a lot of mascaras. I’ve loved drugstore, affordable mascaras from Maybelline, and more high-end mascaras like the Hourglass Caution mascara. One of my favorites that I haven’t mentioned on my blog before is the Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extension Mascara it retails for $24.00 and is available on ThriveCausemetics.com.
About Thrive Causemetics
Thrive Causemetics is one of my absolute favorite brands. Not only because the products are amazing quality, but because of their mission. For every product purchased, they donate to help women, cancer survivors, communities, and animals. Their social media is full of the various organizations that they’ve helped over the years. Moreover, their products are vegan and 100% cruelty-free.
The Liquid Lash Extension Mascara
The Liquid Lash Extension Mascara is currently the only mascara available at Thrive Causemetics. It is a tubing mascara which means that this tiny fibers wrap around your lashes making them look long and voluminous. This technology is special because it makes it easy to remove. Literally only need water and they it comes right off. If you have fragile lashes and hate how some mascaras are impossible to remove, I strongly recommend you give this one a try.
Some of the main ingredients are Orchid Stem Cell Complex which is supposed to stimulate and encourage lash growth. This is a claim I haven’t personally tested. Lash growth is super slow so keeping track of it is impossible. It also has Youth B5 Complex to moisturize and strengthen the lashes. In my daily routine, I also use castor oil for this purpose. It is super important to take care of your lashes just as you do the rest of your skin.
My personal experience using the mascara is great. I find that it doesn’t flake or smudge, something I struggle with because I use mainly hydrating formulas on my face. The plastic wand is usually not one I reach for and it has been the reason I have disliked other mascaras in the past. In this case, the wand has not been an issue for me. The application is smooth and the result is beautiful.
This is a before and after from my Instagram stories using the Liquid Lash Extension Mascara. You can go to my highlights and see how it compares to other mascaras I have used.
At this time, the Liquid Lash Extension Mascara is only available in black, but hopefully they’ll release additional shades soon. I’d love a brown mascara for a more natural look on those no-makeup days. Do you use mascara in a color other than black?
