The IT Cosmetics CC Cream has been my favorite foundation for almost a year now. It was the first high-end foundation I got. When I walked into Sephora, I told the sales representative I was looking for something comfortable. She pointed me in the direction of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, and I am so grateful. Although it is called a CC Cream, it is nothing like a BB Cream or a tinted moisturizer. The coverage this foundation gives is amazing, but it doesn’t have that heavy feeling on the skin.

Things To Know
IT Cosmetics is a brand that focuses on skincare. They want to create products that will make you look and feel good. Although I haven’t bought any of their skincare, I have received deluxe samples. The Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream is the best thing for your sleepy-looking eyes every morning. Their CC Cream also has skincare qualities, including:
- SPF 50+ UVA/UVB broad-spectrum physical sunscreen
- Brightening color corrector
- Hydrating Anti-aging serum
- Poreless finish primer
- Dark spot concealer
- Moisturizing day cream
I use the shade Light, which can be a little dark on me on my pale days. Unfortunately, one of the cons of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream is the limited shade availability. As a result, I ordered the Fair shade (it’s the first one and the shade before Light) but it was way too light and pink for me (If you have trouble finding a shade, check out the Thrive Causemetics CC Cream). My favorite way to apply it is with a beautyblender, but you can also use your hands making it perfect for travel.
This foundation definitely offers more of a dewy and healthy look and because I have dry skin, this works really nicely. However, I’ve read reviews of people with more oily skin types and they’re not as crazy about it as I am. Therefore, if you have an oily skin type I think there’s definitely a risk of it getting dewier and dewier throughout the day. The new matte version is a perfect alternative!
Final Thoughts
In short, if you’re like me and prefer a no-makeup makeup look, this is definitely a product you should try out! I also think it’s perfect if you’re just getting into makeup because it is very easy to use. Go to your nearest Sephora/Ulta and find the perfect shade for you! Fingers crossed that they expand the shade range soon.
