Daily Skincare Routine

As I mentioned in my last post, I don’t have a lot of skincare issues or concerns, and I have been blessed with acne-free skin. In the progress of understanding makeup and the face as a canvas, I’ve begun to try out new skincare products and steps that I didn’t use to before. For example, I have no idea what Pixi’s Glow Tonic does, but I see a difference in my face when I apply it before applying my makeup. Usually, that’s what I do, I try something new and if I like the way it feels, then I stick to it. Until I feel like it’s not working anymore, and I go back to looking and trying new products.

My current daytime skincare routine is,

  1. Cleanse my face with Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths
  2. Use a cotton ball to apply Pixi’s Glow Tonic
  3. I then apply Garnier’s Skinactive Moisture Bomb. If I have enough time, I try to massage my face using circular motions to make sure the product is activated it sinks into my skin
  4. I still don’t know how I feel about e.l.f’s Poreless Face Primer, but I use it every once in a while because pores are the only thing I am really self-conscious about and I feel like everyone can see them. When I do use it, I only rub it on my cheeks and t zone

At night, the only difference is that instead of using Cetaphil’s Cleansing Cloths, I use Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes. I feel these are really good at the end of the day to really get out all the dirt and makeup that has set on my face throughout the day. To remove my eye makeup, I try not to use the wipe as it feels quite rough, so I use Garnier’s Micellar Water (not pictured).

Please share your skincare routine with me in the comments below! Are there steps I am missing? Products you recommend?
