A Month in Releases
Natasha Denona Tropic Palette
I love Natasha Denona palettes… although I have never tried one. Everyone raves about the quality of her eyeshadows, but the price is just too high for me at the moment. This new palette is called the Tropic Palette and it will be available at Sephora on March 8. There is also a second release, the mini Sunset palette and it will retail for $24. Apparently, it is MINI, but I am extremely tempted. To be honest, I am not a makeup artist. I will not be going through an entire palette and makeup does go bad. I’d hate to spend $129 for it to go to waste. Do you own a Natasha Denona palette? Would love to know how you like it!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette
The much anticipated Soft Glam palette is now available! This new Anastasia Beverly Hills palette has the same formula as the Modern Renaissance palette which is one of my favorites. There are also some duplicate shades between the two, so if you have Modern Renaissance, keep that in mind! The look and package of this palette are so appealing to me, but most of my palettes look exactly like it so I’ve passed on this one for now. So far, the looks I have seen are stunning. If you don’t have Modern Renaissance and you’re more attracted to this one, I definitely recommend it.
Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG Mascara
If you haven’t seen this mascara yet… where have you been hiding? The amount of money Benefit has spent on the advertising of this mascara is crazy. They have had multiple influencer trips and events, which has made people skeptical about the actual quality of the product. I haven’t tried it myself, but the reviews I’ve seen are mixed. Some look AMAZING, and others look extremely clumpy. I am tempted to try it because the ones that look amazing, really do look impressive. Have you tried it?
Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Palette
I am sorry this post is all about new eyeshadow palettes. It seems like that’s the product every brand is releasing right now. This palette is based on the original Naked Heat palette, but the shades are actually brand new. Although they follow the same vibe as the Heat, they’re not the same. I literally just bought the Naked Heat and now this cutie is released? This is why the makeup industry needs to stop. I can’t speak about this one, but the original Naked Heat is great. The formula is really easy to work with.
A Month in Instagram
This month, Instagram was not the best to me. I experienced for the first time what it is like to be “shadowbanned.” This means I wasn’t showing up under the hashtags I was using, only people who followed me could see my posts on their feed. It was really frustrating, but I did my best to not let it get to me. In this case, it seems to be more of a glitch than an actual ban, so I am still trying to figure it out. How was Instagram for you this month? In better news, these are some accounts I loved this month!
A Month in Blogs
This month was a bit busy for me so I didn’t get the chance to enjoy as many bogs as I would’ve wanted. If I missed out on your post, leave it in the comments below! I’d love to read it.
Hope you enjoyed another edition of A Month in Beauty. Are you planning on getting any of the recent makeup releases? What are some Instagram accounts you’ve been loving? Don’t forget to let me know in the comments!
