Eyeshadow palettes are some of my favorite makeup products. I love the way these are thought out, the set up of the shadows, and the packaging. Sometimes palettes are wonderful, and sometimes they make our life so much harder. In a recent Too Faced collection, they released an only-mattes palette. The last palette I loved was the Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette Toasted palette. The Just Peachy Velvel Matte Eyeshadow Palette from the Peaches & Cream collection is what has been missing from your makeup collection. The idea of an only-mattes palette might scare you, but it shouldn’t. Here’s what you need to know about the Too Faced Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette.
There’s not much to say about the packaging other than it is stunning. It is heavy, which makes the palette feel extremely luxurious. It also comes with a very decent sized mirror. The size of the Just Peachy palette makes it perfect for traveling as it is not too big or too small. In my opinion, this is the perfect size for a palette. The palette has peaches as a closing system which I find super adorable. They help keep your palette closed and avoid it opening if you travel with it.
Just Peachy Shadows
The palette contains 12 all-matte shadows. There is one shade I would say has a bit of a shimmer to it and that is Peach Sangria. The layout of the palette is so that each row can be one look. I love when beauty companies do this, as it really helps beginners like me to do different looks with one palette. The shadows blend beautifully and work really nicely together. Most of the looks I have done so far are very natural, but the darker shades look stunning. I have used some of the darker shades as liners and they work great. These shades are not super pigmented. They need to be built up, but in my opinion, I find these easier to work with.
Just as other Too Faced Peach releases, the shadows have a slight peachy scent to them. I don’t think it’s too strong, but if you have sensitive eyes and sensitive skin, you should keep this in mind. This palette is free of Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates.
If you’re in the market for a new eyeshadow palette, I definitely recommend you check this one out! It has become a constant in my makeup routine. The palette I have been dreaming about lately is the Natasha Denona Sunset Palette I mentioned on my most current makeup wishlist.
