The IT Cosmetics CC Cream has been my favorite foundation for almost a year now. It was the first high-end foundation I got. When I walked into Sephora, I told the sales representative I was looking for something comfortable. She pointed me in the direction of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, and I am so grateful. Although it is called a CC Cream, it is nothing like a BB Cream or a tinted moisturizer. The coverage this foundation gives is amazing, but it doesn’t have that heavy feeling on the skin.
IT Cosmetics is a brand that focuses on skincare. They want to create products that will make you look and feel good. Although I haven’t bought any of their skincare, I have received deluxe samples. The Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream is the best thing for your sleepy-looking eyes every morning. Their CC Cream also has skincare qualities, including:
- SPF 50+ UVA/UVB broad-spectrum physical sunscreen
- Brightening color corrector
- Hydrating Anti-aging serum
- Poreless finish primer
- Dark spot concealer
- Moisturizing day cream
I use the shade Light, which can be a little dark on me on my pale days. Unfortunately, one of the cons of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream is the limited shade availability. I actually ordered the Fair shade (it’s the first one and the shade before Light) but it was way too light and pink for me. My favorite way to apply it is with a beautyblender, but you can also use your hands – making it perfect for travel.
This foundation definitely offers more of a dewy and healthy look. I have dry skin so this works really nicely. I’ve read reviews of people with more oily skin types and they’re not as crazy about as I am. With an oily skin type I think there’s definitely a risk of it getting dewier and dewier throughout the day.
If you’re like me and prefer a no-makeup makeup look, this is definitely a product you should try out! I also think it’s perfect if you’re just getting into makeup because it is very easy to use. Go to your nearest Sephora/Ulta and find the perfect shade for you! Fingers crossed that they expand the shade range soon.
Have you tried the IT Cosmetics CC Cream before?
